This pomade does everything clay, wax and paste do when cocktailed together. This “clash” of texture imparts maximum hold and classic shine so no need to cocktail it with other products. The thick, water-soluble formula is best emulsified with heat from the jar for ease of use.

Absolutely Marvelous! I have very fine hair and so i was worried it may be a bit to heavy, buuut since I loved all Johnny B’s Original products. Unfortunately, once reformulated or was dropped, they either didn’t work or re-irritated my scalp/skin conditions, but i still check back from time to time to see if there’s new products. So once i seen CLASH I was stoked as its been along time using any JB’s products. First use was when my hair was Long. Then cut it to a med. length, and now just cut it pretty short a couple days ago and it still works marvelously! If i need it to work all day and stay exactly in place, i just put a mist of Smash over the top and its good to go!
If I had anything to say I would like to be improved is it was a bit softer so i didn’t have to use my hair dryer to be able to get it out of the jar. But, I do realize that this was a small batch product, but would love something like this again just slightly softer in the future!!
